Visit The Weatherford Library

The Library opened in 1974 in the R.V. Waldrep house.  It was moved into the old Medical Clinic in early 1980 while a new building was being constructed on the lot where the Waldrep house was torn down.  Dr. Z.L. Weatherford donated $100,000.00 to construct the new library building.  The Weatherford Library offers a variety of services including 6 computers for public use, along with a printer, copy machine and a fax machine.  The Weatherford Library has approximately 12,000 fiction and non-fiction books available for check-out.  In addition to this they also have a reference section. Librarian Linda Ezzell has served the Weatherford Library since 2003.  The hours of operation are Monday-Friday 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.  256-356-9255
